Albertans are invited to participate in a Green Wave! Leading up to May 22nd, the Alberta Wilderness Association (AWA) is promoting the importance of cultivating native species to protect our natural biodiversity and to support sustainable development. Through this initiative, families will collect seeds and/or seedlings from their local nursery, plant them on May 22nd and then register their participation on the Alberta Wilderness Association Green Wave site. The three native plants recommended are: the Saskatoon, Potentilla and Wild Blue Flax. Biodiversity is important to both our health and our wealth, and protecting native plants is crucial for sustainable development. Pour plus d'information, visitez http://albertawilderness.ca/.
