Call for Entries: International Water and Film Events – Istanbul 2009
The 2009 International “Water and Film” Events will be held from March 16 to 22 in Istanbul, during the 5th World Water Forum, with the overall theme of “Water, People and Sustainable Development”. Around one hundred films and clips selected over a two-year period will be screened. Competition categories at Istanbul in March 2009 include: clips less than 90 seconds long made by young people aged from 17 to 30; films less than 60 minutes long; and films of a scientific and pedagogical nature. To be eligible, films must have been produced after January 1st, 2005. Entries will be accepted until November 2nd, 2008. Please visit www.riec-iwfe.org for further information.
The Canadian Environmental Network (RCEN) facilitates networking and communication between more than 600 ENGOs, concerned citizens and government departments working to Protect the Earth and Promote Ecologically Sound Ways of Life.
