Canada risks losing its ability to adopt
independent testing and the inspection capacity
it needs to protect the health and safety
of Canadians if Bill C-27, the Canadian Food
Inspection Agency Act, is passed.
Canadians opposed to Bill C-27 can send a
letter of concern to their MP from the Beyond
Factory Farming Coalition web site.

Health Canada has launched its Contaminated
Sites web site to facilitate easy access
to contract reports, publications and scientific
contribution.

"Securing the Future" Conference
will take place in Skellefteå, Sweden
from June 2830. The conference will
comprise two days of presentations on mining
and environment protection topics and one
day covering metals and energy recovery. The
programme further comprises a range of presentations
from Sudbury.

- Challenging the Limits: Towards a New Internationalism"
