Guide: Make a Difference for Your Cause: Strategies for Nonprofit Engagement in Legislative Advocacy |
| |
Make a Difference for Your Cause, a guide published in 2006 by the Centre for Lobbying in the Public Interest, is a road map for engagement in legislative advocacy. This resource and discussion guide provides examples of nonprofits that have successfully used public policy engagement to meet their missions and presents six questions readers can use to stimulate discussion with others in their organizations. While this guide was developed for U.S. nonprofits, and its legal elements are not applicable to Canadian NGOs, its does have good insights and tips to laying out a legislative action plan. To read the guide, visit the CLPI website. |
