Canadian Advisory Committee on Climate Change (CAC-CC)

Canadian participation in International Organization for Standardization (ISO) technical work is through Canadian Advisory Committees (CACs). CAC's are approved by, function under the authority of, and report to the Standards Council of Canada (SCC). The ISO Working Group 5 (TC207-WG5) on Climate Change will operate under the authority of, and report to, ISO Technical Committee (TC) 207 on Environmental Management. The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) manages both the CAC - Climate Change and CAC - ISO TC 207 on behalf of the SCC. Mimicking the international arrangement, the CAC - Climate Change reports to the CAC - ISO TC 207 which, in turn, reports to the SCC.
The CEN was invited to oversee the selection of an ENGO delegate to the process.
