Subsidiary Bodies (SB) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change

The Climate Action Network has been invited to nominate an ENGO delegate to the official Canadian Delegation to the Subsidiary Bodies (SB) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change that will be held from June 16-25, 2004, in Bonn, Germany. Due to the successful negotiations of the Bonn Agreement (COP 6 bis) and the Marrakesh Accords (COP 7), the SB will largely be a technical meeting, as work continues to translate the political agreements reached in Bonn and Marrakesh into legal language, agreed to by all Parties. As at other sessions of the SBs, Environment Canada will re-imburse your representative’s travel costs in accordance with the Treasury Board guidelines on foreign travel.
