Information Sessions, Pulp and Paper Effluent Regulations

The Regulations Amending the Pulp and Paper Effluent Regulations were published in Part II of the Canada Gazette on May 19, 2004.

During the general information sessions, Environment Canada officials will provide an overview of the key features of the regulatory amendments, identify major comments received on the proposed amendments, and explain how these comments were addressed in the final amendments. There will be two general information sessions of one-half day each. A cross section of representatives from industry, the provinces, regulated municipalities, Aboriginal groups, and environmental groups are invited to attend.
