RCEN CBD Working Group SBSTTA-13 ENGO Statement

Due to lack of financial support, the Canadian Environmental Network (RCEN) was not invited to select an ENGO representative to participate in the official Canadian delegation that attended the Thirteenth meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice of the Convention on Biological Diversity (SBSTTA-13) that took place from February 18–22, 2008 at the Food and Agriculture Organization in Rome, Italy.

However, the RCEN has selected ENGO representatives for previous SBSTTA meetings and looks forward to the possibility of selecting delegates to attend future meetings.
