Background Information

Health Canada’s Safe Environments Programme (SEP) has restructured toward a more functional focus including the establishment of a more formal mechanism for stakeholder engagement. Within the Risk Management Bureau, the Risk Communications and Public Involvement Office is responsible for strengthening and formalizing stakeholder relations with SEP. This consultation will serve to seek expert advice on the best ways to engage environmental health NGOs in providing input on priorities for SEP and the possible forums for that engagement.
