Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS) Consultations

The Department of Finance is holding consultations on its 2004-06 SDS on June 10, 2003, in Ottawa. It has directly invited all key stakeholder groups that had been in contact with Finance over the last two years on sustainable development issues to be in attendance. However, the Department also welcomes written comments from all other organizations on two specific discussion documents: the first is a self- assessment of Finance’s 2001-03 SDS and the second an “issue scan” of priority sustainable development issues that the Department feels it can influence. The deadline for receipt of written comments is Friday, June 20, 2003.
