Questionnaires on the effectiveness of the international arrangement on forests

The Canadian Forest Service (CFS) of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is seeking your comments on the draft response to a voluntary questionnaire designed to assess the effectiveness of the international arrangement on forests, notably the United Nations Forum on Forests UNFF.

The United National created the UNFF in 2000 with a mandate requiring a review of its effectiveness at its 5th session in 2005. Consistent with UNFF Resolution 4/4, member state responses to the questionnaire will factor prominently in the UNFF 5 assessment of effectiveness.
