Cartegena (Biosafety) Protocol
The first meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on
Biosafety (MOP 1) will be convened back-to-back with the seventh
meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on
Biological Diversity (COP-7) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, February
23 -27 2004. The CEN has again been invited to oversee the selection
of an ENGO delegate to the Official Canadian Negotiating Team
for the Biosafety Protocol. Additional information for participants

Working Group webpage.
Bradford Duplisea of the Canadian Health Coalition has been
selected to table ENGO interests and to report back to the CEN.

Team and is also a member of the Biosafety Protocol Advisory Group.
