Air Issues Linkages

The National Air Issues Coordinating Committee – Other Air Issues (NAICC-A) has invited the Canadian Environmental Network to nominate three ENGO members to be invited to a one-day Clean Air – Climate Change Linkages roundtable in Ottawa on Thursday, May 27, 2004. The objective of the roundtable is to provide stakeholders with the opportunity to explore and provide guidance on linkages between policies related to air quality and climate change from a long-term, strategic perspective. The intent is to focus discussion at the strategic level, rather on the details of various initiatives, and the discussion is not intended to be a decision-making or status update forum. Due to the nature of the discussion, senior representation from all stakeholders is being sought.

The three ENGO delegates selected to participate in the upcoming Linkages Rountable, scheduled for May 27, 2004 are:
