Approach to Air Pollutants under the Regulatory Framework for Air Emissions (RFAE)

When: * this meeting has been postponed until further notice
Where: Ottawa, Ontario

The Canadian Environmental Network (RCEN) has been invited by Environment Canada to select twenty (20) ENGO delegates for at least one meeting related to consultations being undertaken on the approach to the air pollutant component of the Regulatory Framework for Air Emissions (RFAE), recognizing there might be a series of follow-up meetings. To facilitate understanding and seek input, the Federal Government will hold meetings with relevant stakeholders.

General Information

The purpose of this initiative is to seek input on suggested improvement to the approach for air pollutants outlined in the Regulatory Framework. The Government has already received many comments on the Framework from previous consultation meetings, but during these meetings will be seeking constructive input to the approach on air pollutants.

Although no compensation will be provided for participants, travel and accommodation expenses and reimbursement details will be provided as per Treasury Board guidelines.
