Stockholm Convention COP4 – ENGO position on Canadian Delegation

The Canadian Environmental Network (RCEN) was been invited by Environment Canada to select one (1) ENGO delegates to participate on the Canadian Delegation to the COP4 for the Stockholm Convention.

The selected ENGO delegate is:

• Fe De Leon, Canadian Environmental Law Association (ON)

The COP 4 is a decision-making meeting addressing business and technical issues related to the Stockholm Convention, and will also be considering the proposed addition of nine new chemicals to the Convention.

This will be a multi-stakeholder delegation, including Environment Canada, Foreign Affairs, Indian and Northern Affairs, Justice; as well as representative(s) from NGO, Aboriginal group and Industry.
