CCME Stakeholder Smog Science Workshop - Recent Developments in the Science of Particulate Matter and Ozone

The Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment (CCME) is planning a two-day workshop in which government researchers will communicate recent developments in the atmospheric, health and economic science of Particulate Matter and Ozone. Participants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the state of science and scientific uncertainties and to review science priorities in support of the Canada-wide Standards for PM and Ozone. This workshop will not involve reviews or discussions of jurisdictional policies.

Presentations will be in the official language of choice of the individual presenters. Presentation material will be translated and provided to participants. In addition, arrangements will be made for participant questions or comments in either official language.

Environment Canada is prepared to reimburse, consistent with Treasury Board Guidelines, the travel and accommodation for up to 4 environmental non-governmental organizations.
