Pest Management Advisory Council (PMAC)
When: Two-year membership (Fall 2007- Fall 2009); meetings in spring and fall
Where: Ottawa
The Canadian Environmental Network (RCEN) selected one (1) ENGO Representative to participate to a Pest Management Advisory Council (PMAC). The Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) provides the secretariat function for PMAC, a multi-stakeholder group that fosters communication and dialogue among stakeholders and with PMRA, and provides advice directly to the Minister of Health on policies and issues relating to the federal pest management regulatory system.

The PMAC is composed of approximately 26 members providing a balanced representation of interests in pest management issues, including pesticide manufacturers and users, environmental and health groups and individuals with appropriate expertise.
