ENGO Participation to the Energy Sector Sustainability Table (ESST)

The mandate of the Energy Sector Sustainability Table is to advise the government on how to meet the energy needs of Canadians, to improve the environmental and economic sustainability of energy systems in Canada and to make recommendations on both short-term and long-term sustainable energy objectives. 

Environment Canada has selected one (1) ENGO representative for the Energy Sector Sustainability Table (ESST) that is expected to attend regular ESST meetings.

Selected ENGO Representative

Nashina Shariff, of Toxics Watch Society of Alberta, is the RCEN selected representative to the ESST.

The alternate is John Bennett, of Climate for Change.
