CEN Annual Conference on the Environment
The goal of this bilingual conference is to dialogue with Canadian,
international, and youth environmentalists and partners about critical
ethical questions arising from environmental issues especially around
fresh water. As well, we want to engage and increase awareness of
the general public, discussing the possibilities pertaining to citizen
engagement and social responsibility.
Fresh Water is the theme that will be interwoven throughout the
conference, acknowledging the Year of the Fresh Water, declared
by the United Nations. However, our conference is not another
conference on fresh water in the year 2003, but a conference on
ethical issues related to environment in the year of the fresh
water.
