2003 CEN Annual Conference on the Environment

 

Purpose

Conference Location

The Centre St-Pierre is located at 1212, rue Panet, in Montreal. This is steps away from the Beaudry Metro station (green line)

Getting there:

From the airport: There is a shuttle bus service from the airport to the Voyageur Central Station. From there take the Metro to Beaudry station.
From the train station
: take Metro Bonaventure to Metro Beaudry
From the bus terminal (Voyageur Central Station): take Metro Berri to Metro Beaudry
If you are driving: take Ville-Marie highway, exit Papineau, turn left at the second light, go up Papineau street, turn left on René-Lévesque. Next light (rue Panet) turn to your right. Limited parking is available at the back of the Centre-St-Pierre. Additional parking is available (see receptionist for details).

Accommodation

All participants attending the conference (aside from National Council delegates, Transition Board members, and Regional Network staff) are responsible for booking and paying for their own accommodation. If you would like to be hosted by one of our billets please contact Rebecca Foon at 613.728.9810 x 34 for further details. A list of hotels located close to the conference site is available.

Closing Night Cultural Event

Come out and enjoy an evening of great music and company! The closing night cultural event will take place Saturday, October 18th from 9pm-3am at L’Alizé (900, Ontario Est @ St-André St.; 514-523-0622) with Allakomi, a family of musicians from Burkina Faso.
