RCEN to Host the Friends of the Convention on Biological Diversity
The Canadian Environmental Network is proud to announce that it has been selected to host the Canadian Friends of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) Association. In partnership with the Secretariat of the CBD, the association will bring together stakeholders from academia, industry, municipalities and NGOs to play an active role in meeting Canada's commitments to the CBD and safeguarding biodiversity globally. Partnership between RCEN and the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity: This partnership aims to promote greater awareness of the Convention on Biological Diversity amongst civil-society organizations in Canada and abroad and to support the Convention’s implementation. Read more
